We are recruiting to fill the following vacant positions below:

1. Miller – Flour Operations at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc.

Job Title: Miller – Flour Operations

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Monitor the receipt of raw materials in order to ensure efficiency of the milling process.
  • Assist the Chief Miller in achieving optimum performance of the milling process.
  • Coach milling staff in order to enhance milling skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Monitor the milling process to achieve optimum performance.
  • Ensure good hygiene and house-keeping practices within the production environment.
  • Minimize unplanned downtime.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Engineering or Science related courses
  • Membership of National Association of British and Irish Millers
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Milling Technology is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 3 years cognate experience.

2. Shift Manager – Production at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc 

Job Title: Shift Manager – Production

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Execute the loading of finished products that meets specified targets.
  • Provide timely response to Plant breakdown using the right RCA techniques to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure good hygiene and house-keeping practices within the packing environment.
  • Perform regular inspection throughout the plant and ensure GMP practices are followed and adhered to.
  • Perform routine maintenance on packing equipment and machinery.
  • Liaise with the Miller for filling/transfer of flour to the assigned bins.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Engineering or Science related courses.
  • Membership of National Association of British and Irish Millers

Job Title: Academy Advisor

Location: Nigeria

The Job

  • To develop competency framework for every critical role identified in assigned departments.
  • Design learning programs in line with the established competency framework.
  • Work with stakeholders/subject matter experts to develop intervention materials for different levels of competency proficiency.
  • Execute FMN Academy training programs for career growth in assigned job families.

Job Title: Technical Support Manager – Flour Operations

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Responsible for providing appropriate solutions to customers’ challenges at their locations.
  • Develop accurate and in-depth understanding of all products in terms of availability, uses, benefits and pricing structure.
  • Participate in new and changed product development formulation and specification and field trials.
  • Promote FMN’s products and services by attending tradeshows and prospecting new customers.
  • Develop a close association and alignment with Bakers’ associations, independent of the  Sales team.

5. Compliance Officer – Business Assurance at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Job Title: Compliance Officer – Business Assurance

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Review operations to identify compliance risks; and ensure compliance with relevant legal and internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance database to ensure compliance with captured compliances.
  • Liaise with compliance owners to track changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate awareness training on code of conduct and other compliance policies.
  • Carry out internal quality checks to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Assist in conducting compliance risk assessment as input to audit plan.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 5 O-Levels credits including Mathematics and English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (minimum of Second Class-Upper or Lower Credit) in Accountancy, Law or any other related discipline.
